Description : |
| |
Analyze requirements and specifications for complex processing to verify that current and future business requirements are met and obtain relevant test data. Design, code, key and review accurate and thorough test material (test plan and test cases) with pre-determined results within specified scheduled dates.
Analyze and test operational problems to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Provide technical support to the ITstaff in identifying and resolving problems. Reports errors through a structured defect tracking process.
Communicate weekly with management verbally and via written detail status report. (Concerns, problems and questions)
Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to research, analyze and propose solutions to technical, operational and test scenarios.
Expand business knowledge on assigned areas of responsibilities to become a Subject Matter Expert in those areas. Expand business knowledge of product benefits, corporate policies, division and department goals and department procedures. Continue to develop and maintain technical knowledge through Computer Base Training (CBT), corporate classroom training, testing workshop, reading and research, etc.
Initiate, participate and facilitate project work groups (internal and external peer reviews, status meetings, Software Process Improvement, JAD session?s etc.). Give training and directions as necessary to staff |
