We are looking for an experienced and talented Lead Software Test Engineer to inspire innovation and automation in our testing processes. This is a QA Lead position that requires programming skills as well as a solid understanding of Quality Assurance practices and principles. We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to work closely with the development team and other QA Team members to develop test cases, execute the test cases, create new test harnesses, implement new automation tools, manage a ticketing system, and own the device testing process.
As a leader of the Testing Team, apart from searching for, investigating, reporting, and tracking defects; your duties will include black box and white box testing, designing new test cases, operating automated test suits, and analyzing defect reports. You will use a combination of COTS, Open Source, and self-developed tools for functional, integration, regression, and load testing of enterprise class, high performance and high availability systems.
This position also includes secondary responsibilities for configuration management, build management, release management, and environment management. This will require planning, maintaining, designing, and managing the release deployment process, and configuration management process as well as maintaining the specification of the release components, application technical architecture, and release management platforms. You will also maintain build and test environments, provide system and application platform specifications, and test existing deployments to ensure their compliance. You will be a critical member of a team responsible for developing and deploying new products as well as coordinating related developers for Tier 3 support for existing products supporting millions of subscribers at major telecommunications carriers.
