| |
-* As expert CA7 Master Scheduler attended 5 day demo for CA-AUTOSYS with WCC interface product which allows for scheduling between Mainframe and server level platforms. Demo provided overview of product and scheduling techniques.
* Monitoring on-line CIS system activity, processing meter related upload/down load file transfers, service orders and payment transactions.
* Responsible for CA7 scheduling, executing, and monitoring the running of CIS-related jobs in the production environment.
* Perform daily several required check and balance procedures throughout the batch cycle to ensure data and processing integrity.
* Preparing and distributing statistical reports, documenting problems, and escalating them to the various Support Groups and appropriate levels of Management when required.
* Utilize various IBM utilities when trouble shooting and correcting job failures.
* Document all system outages and escalate these incidents to the support groups and the appropriate levels of management when required.
* Flowchart existing and new batch streams using VISIO to *blue print* and document production systems.
* Contribute and support the successful completion of all daily, weekly, & monthly batch work including the running of special batch streams that include however are not limited to: Con Edison Steam, Condensation Processing, Lien Sale Processing, Fiscal Year End Processing, Training Batch Processing, BAPPS Processing, SYS1 Batch Processing, SYS2 Batch Processing, IVR Batch Processing, LSTS Batch Processing
* Adjust work hours to accommodate the successful running of any critical path batch streams.
* Use advanced CA7 scheduling techniques to design and build very complex scheduling batch streams for various business applications. These schedules should be designed in such a way to allow for *turn- key* procedures when application servers needed to be switched from primary to backup.
