We have an immediate opportunity for a Sr. .Net Developer with Facets for 6 months contract openings with the largest Healthcare Insurer in the Washington, DC. area. You are an ideal fit for this opportunity if you have previously worked as a Sr. .Net Developer for a large Healthcare Insurance company, such as UnitedHealth, Aetna, Cigna or one of the Blues Plans like WellPoint or Highmark.

Note: Candidates must have Facets and Healthcare industry experience. Must attend for a in person (face-to-face) interview.

Skills required:
Experience with ASP/ASP.NET, XML and C#, FACETS experience is a must.
Experience with .net 3.0/3.5 framework extensions a plus.
Healthcare experience is a must for this position
Project Description:
Model Office
Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software.
-Architects, designs, codes, and implements highly scalable and reliable web applications (Internet and Intranet.
-Completes development estimates outlining business and technical risks.
-Provides technical and business explanation and justification for the architectural, design, and coding approaches.
-Provides solutions that incorporate standard data formats and exchanges based on XML and WS-* standards.
-Participates in formal requirement, design, and code reviews.
-Provides constructive comments, mentoring, and reviews of peer solutions.
-Maintains currency, accuracy, and relevance of information, including reporting known errors or inconsistencies in the information.
- Serve as a strong technical resource
- Be accountable for delivery of assigned tasks within schedules and timelines
- Participate in design and development of application components and data models
- Develop software using industry standard programming techniques
- Perform unit testing and debugging of application components
- Perform other technical duties |
