| |
Identify solutions to redress risks posed by existing and proposed application & infrastructure functionality, commensurate to their impact on the security stance of the Company.
Perform security functional design analysis for new applications, infrastructure and business processes.
Define, implement and enforce corporate-wide Security policies, and procedures.
Establish and enforce Security Controls in infrastructure, applications and business processes.
Contribute security subject matter expertise to infrastructure, application development and business projects, to ensure compliance with Security Policy and Standards both Medco-specific or generally accepted in the Security industry. Work with application development, configuration management, platform and networking, and business analysis teams to ensure adherence to standards and continuity of security throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle.
Support or lead, as appropriate, Global Security projects.
Design and support implementation of Preventive, Detective, and Corrective Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information stored, transmitted or processed by applications and suppliers or business partners.
Investigate reported anomalous events or log entries for impact on the security and compliance of infrastructure, applications code and information, or business processes.
Implement, automate, and maintain reporting tools for use in Security Analysis.
Lead Company response to security incidents. Support Infrastructure and platform teams in resolution of security-impacting issues.
Monitor vulnerability notices from vendors, security organizations (i.e., CERT, FIRST, SANS, etc.) and governmental resources (i.e., CIAC, etc.) and assess for applicability to Company environment. Support tracking mitigation of such vulnerabilities.
