| |
Quarterly production releases (Dev -> Test -> Stage -> Production)
Daily maintenance of all Siebel environments (Dev, Test, Stage, Production). The stage and production environments are both clustered and load balanced with Windows 2003 server as the OS.
Monitoring of environments (Custom system monitoring scripts developed by the previous admin, Check OS logs, event viewers for indications of any issues, etc).
Meetings with different groups (Microsoft patch meetings, Siebel support follow up calls for open issues, etc)
Applying and testing any appropriate MS patches on appropriate environments and release to production.
Monthly audit of the environments (Check for any changes to configurations without intimation, etc).
Check Siebel support site for new updates, applying and testing any new patches on all appropriate environments.
Documentation of any new processes and policies and managing all technical communication with client managers.
