We're looking for a full time Oracle Developer for our client.
Need a Green Card or US Citizen
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience with relational databases Oracle 9i.
2. Experience in Oracle Forms and Reports 6i
3. Experience Troubleshooting, optimizing, and tuning PL/SQL
4. Experience with standard development tools including Oracle Portal and PL*SQL.
5. Writing Shell scripts
6. Experience in business applications including payroll, accounts payable, order entry, invoicing, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, etc.
7. Good written and verbal skills.
8. Ability to understand business processes.
9. Able to communicate with non-technical end users and highly technical programmers.
10. Able to work without supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Confers with organization units and business analysts to determine requirements then formulates and defines scope of system and objectives. Designs systems, procedures, programs, and tables that solve business problems.
2. Develops new, or modifies existing, procedures to meet objectives.
3. Develops, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and installs programs as defined by requirements and objectives. Plans and prepares documentation of the development and functioning of operational systems.
4. Prepares technical reports, program documentation, and instructional manuals.
5. Must provide production support for applications in their area of expertise on a 7x24 hour basis. Significant problem resolution skills and a customer-service aptitude are required.
6. Must follow established programming methodologies.
7. Reports status of project at regular intervals to Manager.
8. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programmers.
