| |
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
* Participates in the design and development of business and system architectures
* Works highly complex architectural impact projects and directs implementation of the architecture for a single or multiple applications or system components
* Assists senior architects with conducting complex technology and system assessments for component architecture and may participate in enterprise architecture activity
* Provides technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture
* Acts as a technical expert on the design and development of highly complex, large-scale internet applications on Unix/Linux platform, crossing multiple business lines
* Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Perl, multimedia applications, database modeling tools, and/or database interactions
* Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution
* Researches and tracks new web technologies, develops applications, and analyzes business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems
* Learns new technologies on the job
The candidate must have the following required skill set: JEE Java, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, SOA and Web Services, SOAP, WebLogic Server, Web 2.0 technologies, Eclipse IDE, Oracle database familiarity, Microsoft Office Tools, Visio, and UML diagrams. Experience in financial/banking industry with expertise around entitlements is desired. The candidate must have exposure to Agile or similar kind of iterative development process |
