Our client, an established market leader for compliance and fraud prevention, is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Presales Engineer to join their growing organization. The Presales Engineer will deliver product presentations to technical staff at clients, as well as working on the development of RFPs. Effective communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction is a major part of the role. The Presales Engineer will deliver product presentations to technical and management personnel and explain benefits and features of the Clients solutions in comparison to competitive products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of high octane sales people, and technical geniuses in the field! Highly lucrative commission structure is in place.
5+ years of experience as a Presales Engineer in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing or Securities/Brokerage industry is required. Candidates must have hands on SQL and database knowledge (SQL queries, reporting tools, HTML, XML.) and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a sales role with a leading software/hardware organization is a plus. A Bachelors degree in computer science, statistics or equivalent is mandatory - advanced degrees are a plus. Candidates must be willing to travel to customer sites (25-50% travel) within assigned region.
