| |
The position of Business Systems Architect (BSA) requires the ability
to analyze/assess our Client's single global instance of the Oracle
eBusiness Suite (EBS) and determine the forward looking configuration
and implementation roadmap to achieve the optimal business system
possible based on our Client's standards. Also required is a good
knowledge of highly efficient business systems configuration/processes
and the ability to implement solutions that minimize manual
intervention to business transactions. The BSA will analyze and
propose business system configuration and architecture solutions that
move the S&S business systems towards an Oracle focused solution and
eliminates the need for bolt-ons and customizations. The BSA will
review modules in use by Client to insure that processes and
configurations meet Client Instance Standards and that available
Oracle EBS functionality is understood and utilized. The BSA will
analyze future Oracle functionality and releases as it relates to
Client's EBS configurations and processes in order to recommend
improvements to existing Client processes and incorporate those
changes in the long term global plan. The BSA will own the Client plan
which will include all projects that are in scope for both the long
term (5+ years), and short term (1-2 years). This includes monitoring
current status, reviewing the progress and health of those projects,
with the Project Managers, and communicating plan updates to the
Oracle Project Management Office (PMO). The BSA must have the ability
to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization including
senior management. The BSA must have the ability to work well in a
team environment and also work effectively with other divisions
globally. This position requires working with and coordinating the
activities of 3rd party implementation partners who are located both
on and off-shore.
