Our client is using FileNet as an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) tool a
technologies used to capture, store, preserve and deliver content and
documents related to an Organization. The business Driver is that they want
to move to a more unified platform for managing business procedures and best
practices, storing policies, gathering data and disseminating forms and
tools (applications) to their users. (Think SharePoint and The Loop).
Our client has a need for a FileNet Systems Engineer. This group is tasked
with tracking the knowledge within our client's organization. They meet
with Business and IT stakeholders and design end-to-end ECM solutions.
Our client is looking for someone that can bridge the gap between FileNet
infrastructure support and application development areas. He or she would
play a large role in infrastructure related activities such as
installations/upgrades, troubleshooting, modeling, but would also be heavily
engaged in developer support activities. He or she would support and work
with application developers to ensure solutions are delivered in a timely
fashion and according to best practices
