| |
The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:
* Meets with clients to understand their organizational direction, structure and requirements
* Creates consolidated requirement documents outlining client needs in a clear, concise format
* Understands and proposes process improvements
* Reviews technical design specifications to ensure they properly encapsulate client requirements
* Defines test conditions
* Develops accurate and complete test plans
* Conducts testing according to plan
* Assists trainers in training users on new technology
* Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions
* Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules; works within time constraints
* Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback
* Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
* Possesses excellent soft skills, especially communication (both written and oral) skills, problem solving ability and creativity
* Possesses an understanding of technical concepts, especially internet and client/server architectures, HTML and database design; knowledge of IBMae-s Content Manager a plus but not required
* Is able to work under pressure
* Fluent in Japanese; Initial assignment will entail translating an existing software package (i.e. a customized variation of Content Manager) as well as supporting training material from English to Japanese
* Graduate degree is preferred |
