| |
Facilitate the implementation of knowledge driven decision making in the transformation of enterprise-wide Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes and infrastructure. Analyze requirements for and guide the design for an ITSM Knowledgebase (Knowledge Repository).
Required Functions:
* Ability to articulate the benefits of knowledge driven decision making to stakeholders with different perspectives by working closely with the government client to develop knowledgebase scenarios to demonstrate the value of the knowledgebase
* Utilize experience assessing and specifying requirements for large-scale data warehouses, knowledge repositories, or data repositories
* Analyze ITSM business processes and information flows and translate the analysis results into knowledgebase design documents
* Analyze representative data samples of data from knowledgebase data sources and mock up sample knowledgebase views and outputs
* Work with technology/tool vendors to translate requirements and designs into a working prototype of the knowledgebase; using off the shelf tools including data visualization, business intelligence, and concept search tools
* Analyze and recommend data, information, and performance measures required for transformation of our client's IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to align with ITIL
* Recommend, develop, and maintain standard architectural representations of these items
* Develop strategies for identification and acquisition of data from multiple distributed sources
* Demonstrate your expertise in a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the field of Knowledge Management
* Provide consultation on complex projects
* Is considered to be the top level subject matter expert
