Our client, a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.3
trillion and operations in more than 60 countries, is actively looking for a
Mainframe Change Management Specialist.
This person will be managing the set up and the ongoing ops of the MF test
environment.
Technical Specs:
-Mainframe experience, either from an operation or support perspective.
Strong experience with Cobol/CICS/DB2/JCL.
-Knowledge of building a test environments
-Ability to manage the ongoing support of a test network
-Must know how to define regions, shut them down, and bring them back up.
Ability to display all connections in a region.
-Verifying code moves
-Supporting test jobs
-Project planning skills, requirement writing, and ability to manage initial
build process.
-Must have strong initiative and ability to take minimal direction.
-Primary duty is to analyze, evaluate and recommend changes to the IT test
network based on a set of business and technical requirements
-This person will work with the business and development team to gather
requirements for analysis
-Once requirements are defined the analyst will evaluate the associated IT
infrastructure components (LAN, Servers, routers, bandwidth, security
protocols etc) and make recommendations on how to accommodate the business
request
-Once build out is complete this person will manage the day to day
operations of the test environment
