Complete Description:
Under general Network Security Project Manager supervision, this position will provide design, development, deployment, problem identification and remediation, and on-going support of the network. Work as member of network engineering team that designs and supports a Checkpoint FW-1 / VPN-1 perimeter edge design for web and point of sale e-commerce PCI DMZ.
This position will:
Provide engineering planning, implementation and configuration management support for the Checkpoint Power-1 570 to effect site to site VPNs to satellite campus Checkpoint Power-1 270, and SSL VPN to point of sale desktops located on the public WAN; implement SMART Defense AV and IPS update, and interface the VPNs with other Firewalls including Checkpoint and Cisco across other Government WANs; and, identify and correct WAN/LAN hardware, software, and network engineering design; problem identification; and problem remediation.
