| |
The LAN/WAN engineer is responsible for all the technical portions of High Speed Internet product delivery including: contacting the customer for gathering requirements, configuring the CPE based on the customer and solution requirements, activating the IP layer (with field organization or customer), configuring policies and applying them to the network, notifying the customer of completion and testing with the customer, troubleshooting and resolution of all technical issues, updating all systems and documentation for the site, QA of all installation work, sending billing and monitoring notifications.
