Description : |
| |
* Aid in the design and execution of software testing and test plans.
* Participate in the creation, extension and application of testing infrastructure, and procedures necessary to assure the highest quality experience for client end-users.
* Work closely with software development teams to identify and correct deviations from the product software specification
* Work quickly an thoroughly in a fast paced environment to achieve agreed upon timelines and objectives.
* Assist the technical support team in answering questions and resolving issues from internal and external customers with a specialization on:
o Database models and designs, data access and table maintenance; database performance, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
o Reviewing, evaluating, and maintaining database.
Education/Experience Requirements:
* BS in Computer Science or similar field
* 4+ years of QA experience with desktop and enterprise applications
* Proficiency in SQL queries for Oracle warehouse databases.
* Proficiency with database data sources, data decomposition diagrams and data flow diagrams. Proficiency in writing codes for database access and modification, including stored procedures.
* Demonstrably excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrable patience and calm "under fire" (required for technical support)
* Ability to efficiently execute technical test specifications and update plan documentation.
* Flexibility to manage rapidly changing requirements.
* A strong desire to both learn new technology and teach others |
