| |
The primary goal of the resource is to work on the *Medicaid/CHIP Policy Automated Tracking System* (McPAT) project as Oracle/WebSphere/J2EE developers. The system will facilitate the application user to track Medicaid & CHIP policy rules, Waivers and SPA changes. More details of the application use and intent can be explained during the interview process.
Duties will include:
A. Assist with production and documentation of the deliverables.
B. Perform full scope of development, monitoring, and administrative tasks related to the creation of a WebSphere/Oracle Web-based application.
C. Work in an integrated, team-driven, development environment.
D. Perform actions related to all parts of the applications lifecycle (development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and limited customer support).
E. Transfer knowledge to transfer to all intermediate/junior level development team members.
F. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
A. Performs systems analysis to evaluate the current application and system while considering additional customer requirements, systems requirements, software releases, equipment configurations, and relationships/dependencies between systems
B. Participate in customer definition and design meetings to gather requirements and functional specifications
C. Participate in the development of web applications and assists IT staff with construction of code based on requirement definitions
D. Adhere to Agency standards for web based applications
E. Designs and implements new or revised methods that effectively meet agency needs
F. Documents agency IT processes to support IT software development
G. Participates in the preparation of diagrams, charts, and tables that depict the present and proposed systems in terms of costs, benefits derived, and tasks accomplished
H. Assist project/functional manager with technical skills in order to assist with project development/implementation as needed |
