This person will be performing switch maintenance for turn down projects,
initiating orders, performing trunk optimization and monitor traffic on all
switches.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Optimize Cost for DS3s and T1s
- Build new and pending Xng paths in Granite Database
- T1s, and DS0s
- Re-Groom T1s to DS3s and Sonet rings
- Make switch upgrades
- Assign ports for all new build sites, new T1s for growth at existing
sites, BTS/BSC rehomes, and TRAU adds/rehomes.
- Assign microwave channels for new builds and Abis growth
- Inventory assignable network devices
- Produce and forward design lay out records from which Operations work from
- Monitor reports and request new T1 orders when growth demands
Granite, Within the database, assign ports to circuit paths for cell sites,
trunks, and paths
