This position provides Web Services technology leadership and direction for upcoming major development projects. The position requires technology evaluation, new product definition, leadership in systems design, execution of feasibility projects, and hands on development. This position assures that products are created in the most efficient manner using best practices in the industry. This individual will develop, design and implement server and client-based technologies and is expected to possess good insight into design patterns and designing applications using OOPS and Service Oriented Architectures. This person will be responsible to drive design documents, functional and technical specifications from other developers on the team. The position requires the selected person to possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The position interfaces with customers, Sales Support, Product Management, and all Engineering development teams.
* Design and develop the SoA on new product lines
* Help to develop and effectively communicate the company's present and future technology vision and direction to varying levels if an organization both internally and externally.
* Management of limited resources as necessary for projects.
* Work with business partners (Microsoft, SUN, etc.) to define integrations between our systems.
