| |
One of our direct clients is looking for a Information System Security Lead/Manager who can work on Contract to Permanent position at Houston, TX.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
- Lead all efforts in the areas of physical security system network design, implementation, and maintenance by creating functional performance requirements, processes, and procedures.
- Lead IT*s efforts in cooperation with Facility Security Officers and the Security Manager in determining physical security network project scope, writing solicitation documentation, managing security vendors, and inspecting and validating vendor deliverables against awarded contracts.
- Apply in-depth networking knowledge to the specification, design, implementation and maintenance of the networks that support physical surveillance, intrusion detection equipment, screening equipment, identity data processing, access control systems, digital audio recording systems, visitor management systems, video recording management systems, land mobile radio communication systems, and VSAT communications systems.
- Perform site surveys and develop solutions which satisfy electronic and physical security systems requirements at the client facilities.
- Lead the analysis and resolution of reported failures of network and control components.
- Develop and implement a configuration control process to maintain the current status of all electronic security systems hardware and software.
- Conduct reliability analyses of networking and control systems and their major components.
- Lead efforts in the establishment and configuration of remote monitoring diagnostics systems for the security network.
- Maintain current knowledge of networking technology developments as they apply to security networks.
- Assist with the implementation, administration, and maintenance of non-physical security client IP networks as needed.
