Database Administrator: - Database Design - work with project DA to establish a database design that will support the projects processing and performance requirements. - Performance and tuning reviews - work with the project and production support teams to evaluate and tune database access performance and database system level performance.
- Implementation of databases and data schemas for applications
- DBA is responsible for supporting the deployment of database changes to the development, integration, performance and production environments. - backups for non-production environments
- moving data from one non-prod environment to another based on size and project need.
