| |
A Bachelor*s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, MIS or Computer Science and a minimum of six (6) years if progressive responsibility in the physical security sector of the IT field or equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Experience must include the following at the advance or expert level:
1. Network infrastructure hardware and software including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and management suites.
2. LAN, WAN and MAN environments.
3. IP concepts such as DNS and DHCP
4. Electronic security components such as system integration of CCTV, intrusion detection, intelligent video, access control systems and barriers.
5. Networking vest practices as they relate to design, addressing, VLAN configuration and network security.
6. Wireless networking including Cisco LWAPs and controllers.
7. Managing large scale electronic security systems projects and engineering complex systems.
