Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a VOIP/PBX
technician to join their growing team.
On a day to day basis this candidate will be executing moves, adds and
changes for their existing phone system. This person will be supporting the
Avaya VOIP network. This person will be dealing with vendors. At times, this
person will get his or her hands into networking such as supporting routers
and hubs.
To be qualified for this position, this candidate should have an
understanding of PBX and VOIP systems. This candidate should have strong
network troubleshooting skillsIP concepts, subnetting, tracerouting,
DNS/DHCP and the ability to read packet captures. This candidate should have
a basic understanding of basic database, basic wiring, networking,
telephones and trunking associate with the traditional and converged
telephone systems. This candidate should have experience working with Avaya
related products and services.
This position is scheduled as a long-term, open-ended contract. Candidates
should be available to interview within 48 hours.
