General Summary
The Backup Architect is responsible for the overall architectural design, acquisition, and cost recovery of the backup environments.They will have input into the standardization of software and hardware used in the backup environments.They will work with the sales team and solution architects to make sure that the backup environments are properly sized for new customers, while also keeping up with existing environments growth and refresh cycles.They will work with vendors to keep up with new technology and provide input into which technologies will be utilized.
The Backup Team is a fast paced team supporting ACS’s dynamic backup environments.The ideal candidate will be someone who can work autonomously in project driven activities, interact well with customers and vendors, and work with a broad range of technology.
