I have the following position with my client -
Location - Long Island City, Queens NY
Duration : Indefinite (Multi-year)
Summary of Position:
The candidate reports to the Chief Accountability Officer and is responsible for assisting in managing work products in the following areas: Project Budget and Scheduling, Lifecycle Project monitoring, Agency-wide Systems Development, Management Reporting and Data Quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the review and development of policies and procedures concerning Project Scheduling, Cost Monitoring, Reporting and Data Assurance.
2. Assists in the review, development and monitoring of performance metrics.
3. Assists in tracking and monitoring project pipeline and identifies trends and problem areas. Works with Departments to resolve issues and recommends changes in processes to the Chief Accountability Officer.
4. Assists in the development of reports to monitor project pipeline and performs data quality control to ensure accurate reporting.
5. Participates in the development and implementation of Authority-wide project information systems.
Required background (Education and Experience):
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
2. A minimum of five years of full time experience in the design and construction industry as well as software and process design and implementation experience. Construction Management and Public Sector experience would be considered a plus.
