Architect - Directory Services
This hands-on position provides architectural services for a team involved in the development of upcoming major projects. The directory services architect will be responsible for the directory services used in the product.
The candidate will be an individual contributor involved in:
Specifying directory architecture
Evaluating implementation technologies
Specifying interfaces
Performance and capacity estimation of the directory services.
This person will be responsible for authoring architecture documents, and working with developers on functional and technical specifications with other developers on the team. The architect will likely be called on to perform development from time to time. The candidate is expected to have a sound understanding of the software development life cycle and possess good insight into design patterns and designing applications using OOPS. The position requires excellent written and oral communication skills. The position interacts with Product Management and all Engineering development teams as well as third-party vendors.
