Typically possesses 7 years of relevant work experience
* At least four years of working experience with JAVA, Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, JavaScript, HTML;
* Proven working knowledge of the J2EE architecture
* Proven working knowledge of WebSphere and Eclipse or IBM's Rapid Application Development IDE
* Proven working knowledge of the Spring Web application framework;
* Strong Object-Oriented analysis and design skills, including requirements analysis, OO design patterns, and UML
* Ability to mentor other staff; and * Strong oral and written communications skills required
* Spring MVS and IOC
* Struts and JBoss a plus
* XML, AJAX experience;
* Proven knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and experience in application development using the Adobe Flex framework;
* Experience developing web based data visualizations (charts, maps, graphs);
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Rational Rose; and
* Relational database experience
