Summary Description:
The technician will be responsible for a variety of desktop computer and WAN support assignments with emphasis on desktop computer problem resolution. The position is expected to provide 1st and 2nd level PC Technician support providing hardware, software and WAN troubleshooting to internal end users.
Job Functions:
Analyze and process PC-related user requests.
Communicate with users over the phone and in person and provide help desk support for PC hardware and software problems.
Configure, install, maintain and repair problems with PC hardware, software and WAN connections.
Provide support for Windows, and other various products.
Update inventory management system in order to maintain current product information for PC hardware/software items and accurate inventory of installed hardware and software.
Provide software support.
Category 5/6 cabling as required.
Troubleshoot and repair laser printers.
Move and install Servers
Move and image PCs.The ability to lift at least 50 Lbs is a requirement.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor, manager, Regional Director |
