The Portal Framework team designs and develops web solutions for use both by employees and clients. The team supports and extends two major web sites. First is Sales Insight, our sales-facing web portal and the second is our client-facing web portal. Both sites are built upon the same Portal framework which is built, maintained, and extended by the Portal framework team.
The Portal Team is responsible for creating and maintaining features for Sales Insight, and building services and tools that keep it running smoothly 24/7. This includes managing inbound market data feeds and services, publishing APIs and document management systems, external data feeds and a search engine. Documents and data are fed into a complex system of caching and matching systems that route content for display on the sites, and to numerous internal and external clients via e-mail alerts and outbound feeds.
