| |
Primary Responsibilities:
* Identify key business and technology drivers that impact front-end underwriting and policy management solutions and application architectures
* Provide technical direction regarding front-end underwriting and policy administration solution design and development
* Collaborate with other architects and technical leaders across the organization to develop best practices
* Generate and maintain cross-functional roadmaps to eliminate surprises for development teams
* Develop conceptual system designs and implementation strategies to use for more detailed design and evaluating long-term implications of design choices
Solutions Architect Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience performing a solution architecture role
* 3-5 years of experience in insurance and/or financial services systems
* 5+ years of experience working with insurance underwriting and policy administration systems
* 3-5 years of experience in working in a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment and Web Services
* Firm understanding of Software Architecture, Design Patterns, and Middleware
* Firm understanding of Web client and server-side technologies
* 5+ years of working with Internet technologies |
