SAP Senior Basis Administrator
Duties / Responsibilities:
The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day SAP Basis support of one or more customers.These responsibilities include applying OSS notes and Support Packages, client copies, System refreshes, database administration, performance monitoring and tuning, applying patches, and kernel updates.Need to have a good understanding of Java and the environments which utilize it so that proper troubleshooting and problem resolution can take place.Would also be responsible for ensuring that all contractual SLAs are being met for your customer and customer satisfaction is high.Attend all scheduled conference calls with the customer and be an extension of their Basis support staff.
This person would be part of a large global team with mixed skill levels so team work and mentoring is a must.You would also have to be part of an oncall rotation with some night and weekend work a requirement.
