5+ years experience as a Teradata Database Administrator
5+ years developing and tuning Teradata database SQL queries, views, stored procedures and table/index objects in Teradata
2+ years experience with Microstrategy
Minimum 5 years overall IT Experience.
Strong problem-solving skills in complex, multi-vendor computing environments.
Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.
Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills, especially in driving consensus among other technical resources.
Ability and desire to work within a cross-functional team environment with people from multiple business units, vendors, countries and cultures.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Delivers and supports physical database structures for application development efforts.
Incorporates the new physical database structures into the existing database environments that physical database structures?Ensures conform to existing data standards and the Global Data Warehouse Architecture. Supports, designs and builds Teradata, components
Contribute Teradata expertise to architecture and approach exercises to maintain consistency and standardization within the business intelligence environment.
Assist and support analysis and data discovery activities in profiling and documenting quality of source data to be used with the warehouse.
Support testing, migration and production project lifecycle phases by providing teradata development and support |
