Senior SW QA Engineer Qualifications:
* Should have experience in using configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, debugging tools, and testing tools
* Superior functional and performance automation skills
* Solid understanding of Transact and Jet SQL including the creation of standard and aggregated queries
* Expertise with all phases and stages of software testing (Functional, System, Integration, Data Validation, User Acceptance, Scalability, Performance, Stress, and Load)
* Should have in-depth knowledge of Test Planning, Test Case Specification, and Test Procedure Development
* Hands-on experience with technologies including HTML, C#, ASP, Microsoft .NET, MS Access, and SQL Servers is required
* Superior knowledge of software troubleshooting
* Familiarity with the tools in the Microsoft Office Suite
* Comfortable working within Windows and the UNIX OS environments
* 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing in a Microsoft and UNIX development environment
* B.A. / B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
* Expert knowledge of software testing disciplines and methodology (negative, white/black box, test phases, etc.)
