A DX-200 Engineer is needed for a contract opportunity with our client. This position can be based out of any location. This opportunity is 100% travel. We are looking for 2 consultants for this role. One is going to support the East Coast and the other will support the West Coast.
Duties include commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of Nokia SGSN; technical support into customer networks; participating in pilots, rollout upgrades, and patch installations; SW and HW upgrade of Nokia SG6 and SG7, onsite support, log collecting and troubleshooting, and acceptance testing for above products.
In addition to experience with the duties mentioned, candidates must meet the following requirements:
* Excellent experience and skills on SGSN, DX-200 platform, and GPRS network
* Advanced troubleshooting skills on Nokia SGSN, preferably SG6
* Prior experience working in the role of technical support, customer service, and SW roll-out/upgrade projects
* Fundamental IP and UNIX knowledge; knows basic IP configuration and troubleshooting
