Position Description:
A senior-level position as part of the software development team designing and developing large-scale high-availability multi-tier transactional systems. Seeking qualified Java developer with a broad knowledge of software engineering concepts, technologies, and practices. Will be tasked with the implementation of product lines for various customers with large real-world customer base. The position requires to interface with offshore development team and perform as a software release lead.
Position Requirements :
Required at least 5 years of industry experience designing and implementing/managing large-scale high-availability multi-tier transaction systems.
Required:
5-7 years working experience with Java or object oriented programming.
Experience in different areas of software process, such as development, QA, BA.
Experience in interfacing with offshore software group.
Experience using at least one major database such as Oracle, MS SQL Server
SQL Experience with database driven multi-tier web application development
Experience with Linux environment and shell scripting
Experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse/WebSphere and Tomcat
Ability to own component development from requirements through implementation
Ability to interface successfully with clients and office personnel
Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
