. Snr Cognos developer
2. 8-10yrs total experience
1) Strong Data warehousing conceptual/practical knowledge.
2) For senior Cognos roles - Strong Cognos suite experience/background.
Cognos suite should include: Cognos 8 series (8.4 is the latest version but 8.3 is almost as good ).
Cognos Framework manager modeling, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Powerplay Transformer, Cognos SDK, Dashboard, Event Studio.
3) Very strong Database conceptual knowledge/background and database skills, including SQL skills
4) Preferably with some UNIX knowledge.
5) Someone that has an aptitude for understanding a given business process. This is very vital in managing large applications/ large-scale development undertakings.
6) For reports development (developer's role) - Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Powerplay transformer (Even 7 series in powerplay transformer is good enough). and Framework Manager modeling and database skills |
