Functional Description:
Meets with and develops an ongoing relationship with PCPs associated with HUES
Assures the PCP is compliant to patient access protocols
Performs PCP reviews
Elevates to identified access issues to management
Updates HUES database regularly
Education and Typical Years Experience
Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana
License with no Stipulations
Familiarity with Community Care PCP requirements
Experience in Medicaid, managed care, and hospital settings
Experience administering quality assurance and continuous quality improvement processes
Special Requirements
Superior interpersonal communication skills
Proven leadership experience
Maintains strict confidentiality
Remains composed under pressure
Regional familiarity with the Cities of Baton Rouge and New Orleans
Prior experience working with medical care providers (PCPs, hospitals, etc |
