Job Requirements:
o5 years of Cognos BI and Metrics Studio experience with minimum of 3 years experience in 8.x
o3 years of BI Architect experience involving Data Modeling including multi-dimensional modeling
o5 years of experience with Oracle with ability to develop complex SQL Queries
oExperience in working with Cognos Framework Manager, creating and maintaining packages, design and maintenance of the meta-model and developing reports
oPlan, estimate and coordinate development activities
oExperience in leading development teams and co-ordinate onshore and offshore activities
oTrain junior developers to develop packages and reports
oAbility to transform business requirements into reports, dashboard and other BI components
oExperience with design of business intelligence application solutions including database design, ETL, report design and dashboard, analytics and KPI
oExperience with integrating Cognos 8 BI and Metrics Manager
oAnalyze Cognos new releases and provide recommendation for upgrades
oAbility to focus on priorities, work with various offshore/onshore teams and meet
deadlines and provide regular status report to development manager
oAbility to adjust to onshore and offshore time zones
oGood written and verbal communication skills
o Administer multiple tier Cognos 8 environments
oEngineer Cognos Framework |
