| |
Manages computer environmental and power consumption tools that result in cost savings for internal and external customers
Prepares business documents to identify fiscal savings opportunities.
Ensures the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers associated with support applications.
Updates corporate virtual images using infrastructure tools.
Recommends, schedules and performs software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations and/or purchases.
Conducts research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
Creates required reports in response to business user needs.
Develops, documents and maintains policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
Assists in planning, designing and implementing virtual computing systems, including configurations, and support/troubleshoot problems.
Manages environmental cost savings initiatives using technology to reduce resource consumption.
Technical business development activities related to the service solutions.
Travels (10%) to customer sites for pursuit activities and implementation exercises.
Designs, analyzes, plans, and modifies virtual desktop solutions that support customer communication business development activities.
Responsible for evolving go-to-market solution to internal and external customers.
Conducts virtualization architecture design, feasibility and cost studies.
All other duties as assigned.
