My client is in need a Sr Oracle DBA for their Chattanooga, TN location. The
DBA provides database administration and support for production, test, and
development environments to include day-to-day monitoring and maintenance,
problem investigation and resolution, back-up creation and maintenance, SQL
and database optimization, and tuning as well as researching, analyzing, and
recommending patches, upgrades, and new technologies surrounding all aspects
of data management using relational databases. Any experience with HIPPA or
Oracle Applications Server is a plus. A break down of needed skills to be
considered are below. This is an immediate need and the client will move
quickly. There is the possibility of working remote about 70% of the time.
Requirements:
5 years of Oracle Database administration experience to include versions 9i
and 10g
5 years of Oracle RAC experience
5 years of SQL experience with expert-level skills in the SQL language
5 years of MS SQL/Server experience
5 years of RMAN back-up experience
3+ years of ASM
Large database experience (4TB+)
