General Summary
The IBM TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of the IBM TSM backup infrastructure.Additionally, this individual will be responsible for performing daily backups of the following systems; Microsoft Windows and Various UNIX Platforms.Perform data recovery of systems and end user data as necessary.This position will also support the migration of backup technologies between platforms.
The Backup Team is a fast paced team supporting ACS’s dynamic backup environments.The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys assisting corporate uses, developing new skills, and working with a broad array of technologies.
Major Responsibilities
1.Perform daily backups, data recovery, and all associated reporting.
2.Install configure, and maintain storage hardware and software systems as appropriate.
3.Understand general disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
4.Perform on-call rotation and duties |
