Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 6 years of hands on experience in managing SQL Server in production environment.
Willing to work in a large High availability 24 X 7 site involving complex SQL Server of OLTP / OLAP nature.
Should have excellent ownership & Sense of urgency nature to be able to cater services to the business as per the SLA *s (Turn around times) defined by the customer.
Should have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Change Management:
Proactively monitor alerts being paged by Databases and fix them. Work towards reducing the number of alerts by fixing the repeating chronic issues.
Be able perform code moves / deploy new releases as per the Date & time of execution.
Perform clones / Refreshes from Production to non production environments.
Be able to perform New installations / upgrades / releases and follow the process / security guidelines defined by the customer.
Provide support from a database standpoint during the planned outages / Patching / Server moves.
