Description : |
| |
Lead the technical discussions
* Be able to uncover hidden needs and address them through solutions
* Be an Expert in at least two of the following and familiar with the remaining
1) Storage and Backup
2) Virtualisation
3) Servers
4) Applications (Messaging, Database, etc)
* Builds high quality solutions that meet client requirements & can be delivered profitably.
* Plan & gather information in order to define system objectives.
* Support offshore implementation, management & maintenance of Infrastructure, Solution offerings including the pre-sales & the actual delivery activities.
* Develops personal rapport & professional respect with field sales & professional services teams.
* Prioritizes his/her time to focus on highly qualified, larger opportunities with target prospects.
* Attends sales calls with relevant clients to identify & analyse potential opportunities for Infrastructure Management Services.
* Delivers high quality, technical expertise in the pre-sales process to help close sales opportunities with the client.
* Engages with clients facilitating workshops to jointly develop understanding of their environment, synthesizes findings, draws & presents conclusions.
* Ensures technical compatibility between the client*s requirements & the products offered.
* Develops SOW & estimates & pricing for client proposals for Infrastructure Management Services.
* Develops, monitors client relationships & status of ongoing engagements.
* 8 * 10 years in the above mentioned capacity specifically as a solution architect or consultant with a large solutions integration firm.
* Experience in Solution Architecture & proven ability to design complex solutions.
* Strong background in the development of technology-based business solutions.
* Effective communicator; verbal, written & presentation skills creativity, flexibility and openness to alternative technical and commercial approaches to consulting work.
