Description : |
| |
* Serve as the infrastructure architect in the analysis, design and planning phases of the IT related projects.
* Facilitate the initiation of key strategic infrastructure initiatives and recommend modifications as appropriate to existing plans.
* Act as an advocate for insuring that the infrastructure aligns with the overall enterprise architecture principles, policies and standards.
* Define and maintain infrastructure architecture principles, policies and standards.
* Act as an in-house consultant/trusted advisor to IT executives and management.
* Conduct infrastructure capacity and performance analysis. Develop solutions to assure system availability and performance aligned to Service Level metrics including Disaster Recovery SLAs.
* Translate vendor specifications into appropriate system designs, incorporating knowledge of current and future business requirements.
* Evaluate the potential impact of system modifications or enhancements
* Provide the expertise and guidance to peers, leadership and associates on the overall infrastructure architecture as it relates to the business and IT strategies.
* Maintain expertise in the area of architecture, including industry trends, strategies, and products to ensure that the company*s assets are effectively and efficiently utilized.
