Job Description:
The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is seeking an experienced Software Developer to analyze, design, develop and implement Web-based and Client/Server applications.
- Incumbent serves as project lead and provides direction and mentorship to junior developers to achieve desired results.
- Qualified applicants should have experience with full software development life cycles in large software development projects using OOA&D and/or RUP methodology.
- Experience developing business applications in an object-oriented environment.
- Significant knowledge of Java, SQL, JSP, Sturtts, Spring, Hibernate, XML, Servlets, Javascript, HTML, and Oracle is required.
- Working knowledge of Weblogic, Web Services, Rational tools, Subversion, Unix, Eclipse, EJB, Ant, XML and Crystal Reports is preferred.
- The demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team is desired, along with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems (required) or comparable work experience is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Resource functions such as Finance, Accounting, Asset Management and Human Resources is preferred |
