Education and Typical expected experience:
Juniper Networks SSL VPN Appliance - Enterprise level experience
Enterprise Core responsibilities (High SLA risk)
Internet DMZs
IT Firewall experience - (Checkpoint, CISCO ASA, FWSM, Juniper) Configuration, Troubleshooting and Support of large enterprise network environments
IT Security experience - working knowledge of IDS and IPS.(Cisco, Snort, Sourcefire, IntruShield)
Operating systems - knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
Load Balancers - Cisco CSS, F5,Local Director, Cisco Content Engine
Proxy Services - Able to diagnose web based applications and problems (Cisco Content Engines, Microsoft proxy servers)
Internet/Enterprise advanced services – Qip, DNS, SMTP
Experience in network design and troubleshooting; Internet infrastructure, Local Area Network, Wide Area Networks, and merce type environments
Enterprise level network Internet, WAN, LAN support & engineering experience.
Superior knowledge, skills & experience with Cisco routing hardware, software, protocols, etc.
Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical, UPS, etc.
In-depth experience and talent in using packet / protocol analyzers, tcp dump to find and remedy application and network performance issues.
Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead (when required), and as a participant in a team environment |
