The Instructional Designer will be tasked to develop web based training courses detailing how to use a new proprietary computer system. The Instructional Designer will work with subject matter experts (SMEs) in a fast paced, project based environment with tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Use sound learning principles to create highly engaging educational courses (on time and within budget)
Create course story boards using a pre-designed Microsoft PowerPoint template
Document step-by-step instructions
Develop demonstrations of system transactions using Captivate
Publish web based courses that contain audio, storyboards, and demonstrations via Captivate
Requirements:
3+ years experience in instructional and web-based training design/development
Bachelors degree required
Must be an experienced Captivate user
Superior communication and writing skills
Knowledge of MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint)
Must be able to work on-site (no ability to work remotely)
