Qualified candidates will have experience supporting AIX 5L on Power3,
Power4 and Power5 HW Architecture in a production environment.
This position will consist of responding to work requests; troubleshooting,
doing root cause analysis, executing scheduled changes, and doing
performance analysis within an IBM/UNIX based environment.
Candidate will participate in AIX, LINUX and HP-UX OS installations,
participate in customizations, and install/configure middleware software.
Responsibilities include helping to maintain already setup and configured
virtualized and static logical partitions on IBM P-Series HW, Intel HW using
VMWARE and HP-UX, as well as, PA-RISC HW also using HP-UX.
Utilize AIX NIM server to restore images or to initiate installs.
Configure and maintain daily backups using TSM |
