Description : |
| |
8 years minimum of Cognos experience / 10 years minimum of related IT experience
* Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills
* Strong data modeling skills (Normalized and Multidimensional for Data Marts, including Star Schema, Snow-Flake Modeling, Fact and Dimensional Modeling)
* Extensive knowledge in SQL programming / Store Procedures
* Knowledge and experience working with Relational Databases such as Oracle, MS SQL, UDB
* Experiencing implementing ETL
* Ability to design, create, and refresh Powerplay cubes using Powerplay Transformer
* Experience designing and developing charts, graphs and Dashboards
* Experienced in implementing Cognos Security
* Hands on experience with the following are also a plus -- .Net 2.0/ ASP/Javascript/HTML/ DHTML/XML
* Experience using the ERwin data modeling tool a plus
* Working knowledge of Terra Data a plus
* Multi-tasking, able to manage and deliver multiple tasks within short timeframe
* Experience in business requirements gathering
* Good written and verbal communication skills a must
* Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred |
